Road to Wrigley

Graphic Design Intern @ Marquee Sports Network — Identity, Direction, Motion*

Description

First aired by Marquee Sports Network in 2022,
Road to Wrigley is a Chicago/Midwest Emmy award-winning television program that provides multiview coverage of the Chicago Cubs farm system.

Goal

Devise a program identity that supports Marquee‘s stable of existing shows while also enhancing the innovative format of Road to Wrigley. (And complete it in one work day).

Implementation

The Cubs may wear red, white, and blue, ivy green and vintage gold dominate Wrigley Field’s fan experience. This identity celebrates the road as a metaphor for the focus and determination required to reach the big leagues and its greatest venue.

    Under Construction

*As much as I would like to take credit for the hero animation, I offer my thanks to Joe Grochocki for showing me the ropes and making the identity television-ready.

Special Thanks: Brandon Fishman, Tabitha Green, and Tabitha Green
