The brand identity centers itself around a blackletter “M” mark that celebrates the culture and communities that define the City of Angels.

Wayfinding signage orients riders to their surroundings upon entrance into a station.

Throughout the station the full name is clearly marked with the lines in service. Departing riders may confirm their travel plan, and arriving riders ensure they get off at the right stop.

The new metropolitan system takes advantage of surfaces traditionally reserved for advertising.

Large wayfinding graphics inform current transit users while coaxing drivers stuck in traffic at rush hour.

An in-train digital graphic shows a given rider’s experience on the Beverly Line headed west from the Bunker Hill & Grand Ave. Arts station toward Downtown Santa Monica.
