Goal
With Spanish-style architecture, French-inspired winemaking, and sensibility from across the Mediterranean region, channel the quiet spirit of the Santa Ynez Valley to develop a uniquely Californian identity.

Implementation
Alouette places emphasis on small batch products drawn from the land, its identity speaking to a blend of cultural inspiration and offering a homespun yet flexible set of marks, including a bespoke word mark in the Art Nouveau tradition.

The Santa Ynez Valley is something of a hidden gem in the nation’s most populous state.

Rolling hills, clustered oaks, and long rows of vines define a landscape that feels both cultivated and wild.

Morning fog drifts in from the Pacific, lingering low before the sun burns through, revealing the hues of the valley floor.

A lark-based primary mark is joined by a similar mark whose “A” is drawn from the main logotype.
